Our Trainings
We offer innovative and hands-on trainings to teach strategies that can be put into practice right away.

The Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT™) reliability workshop prepares participants to use the instrument to gather information on preschool teachers’ implementation of Pyramid Model practices. This intensive workshop requires prerequisite knowledge, preparation, and participation throughout.
Participants who successfully complete the workshop and meet reliability standards will receive a certificate indicating reliability status and can serve as reliability partners to other observers.
To participate in TPOT™:
- You must have completed the Pyramid Plus Approach (PPA) or Colorado Pyramid Model Training (CPMT) Training of Special Recognition within the last 5 years.
- You must be actively involved in training, coaching, technical assistance, or support to teachers currently engaged in implementing the Pyramid Model.
The course will be provided in a Zoom format in 3 sessions and will include interaction among attendees. You need to participate in all 3 sessions in order to receive your certificate.

The Teaching Pyramid Infant Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS™) reliability workshop prepares participants in the use of the instrument to gather information on infant and toddler teachers’ implementation of Pyramid Model practices. This is an intensive workshop that requires prerequisite knowledge, preparation, and participation in the entire workshop.
Participants who successfully complete the workshop and meet reliability standards will receive a certificate indicating reliability status and can serve as reliability partners to other observers.
To participate in TPITOS™:

Cavity Free Kids Training is Now PDIS!
In partnership with Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation, we are excited to announce the launch of our new Cavity Free Kids (CFK) Training -now available in Colorado’s Professional Development Information System (PDIS)! This engaging 1.5-hour, self-paced online course is designed for early childhood professionals, offering practical tools to promote oral health across diverse settings, including child care centers, preschools, Head Start programs, and family child care environments.
No prerequisites are needed, and the course counts towards ongoing professional development hours for licensing and the Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC). Through interactive lessons and hands-on activities, you’ll gain the confidence to incorporate CFK strategies into your daily work—empowering children and families to build lifelong healthy habits.
