Our quality initiatives are designed to promote and support best practices and policies that elevate early childhood care. Through comprehensive training and ongoing support, we empower early childhood providers and care givers to work together in creating nurturing, thriving environments for every child.
Healthy Universal Preschool Collaborative
This two-year project aims to integrate oral health, screenings, and referrals within Colorado’s Universal Preschool Program (UPP) sites. By building capacity within Local Coordinating Organizations (LCOs), the project supports sites in meeting new quality standards. Additionally, it leverages the expertise of mandated child care health consultants, who play a crucial role in promoting inclusion, health, safety, and overall wellness in early childhood programs.
Lactation Friendly Child Care Recognition
This recognition empowers child care programs to evaluate and enhance their policies and practices, fostering a supportive, lactation-friendly environment and culture.
