Maintaining good oral health is more than just about those pretty smiles. Young children who suffer from tooth pain may not be able to describe it and the pain can make them less than ideal playmates and negatively impact their behavior. We are offer trainings, tools, and support the early childhood workforce and families.

We offer fun and interactive trainings in formats that work best for you. All our oral health trainings are offered at no cost to participants.

 

 

Cavity Free Kids

This unique curriculum is designed to help programs teach children about oral health by adding activities to your current lesson plans. The lessons and activities can be used for any age group from infants to pre-kindergarten.

 

Healthy Smiles Summits

Our expert staff is ready to share the importance of good early oral health habits. Attendees will learn simple and fun ways to engage children and families in conversation, songs, books, and learning center activities that promote healthy habits. The Summit will be focused on learning how to plan and implement policies and practices related to the 5 Basics of Oral Health:

Healthy Smiles Champions

Help Programs achieve oral health goals by becoming a Healthy Smiles Champion. Champions receive training, tools, support, and a stipend for this important work.

Healthy Child Care Colorado served on the Advisory Committee to create Colorado’s first Roadmap for Early Childhood Oral Health Equity to advance integrated and preventive oral health in our early childhood systems.
