Tax season is here!
Colorado’s new Family Affordability Tax Credit will deliver up to $3,200 per child to eligible low-income families in 2025. Consultants and child care programs can support family financial well-being and improved health and educational outcomes by helping more families know about tax credits and where to find free and secure tax help. Coming Soon: Cavity Free Kids Training in PDIS!
In partnership with Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation, we are excited to announce that the new Cavity Free Kids (CFK) Training will be launching soon in PDIS. This self-paced, 1.5‑hour online course is designed for early childhood professionals working in settings such as child care centers, preschools, Head Start, and family child care programs. The training covers the five key foundations of oral health: Baby Teeth are Important, Water for Thirst, Tooth‑Healthy Foods, Brush, Floss, Swish, and Going to the Dentist.
No prerequisites are required, and participants can earn professional development hours toward licensing and Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC). Stay tuned for more updates on the launch!

Revised Regulations for Health & Sanitation of Child Care Facilities
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has completed a yearlong stakeholder process to revise 6 CCR 1010-7, Health and Sanitation of Child Care Facilities in the State of Colorado.
