The Timberline Learning Center Operations assistant is responsible for the systems utilized to manage the operations of the Early Learning Center. As a partner in the Administrative Team, the Operations Assistant is focused on the physical plant, supporting schoolwide preparedness, data management and daily operations. This position ensures that the school as a whole is well cared for through effective organization and time management, building community connection, and a depth of knowledge about the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning. The Operations Assistant is an active participant in the execution of the organizational Strategic Plan, working independently to ensure that their action items are carried out effectively and efficiently. The position requires a professional who can appropriately represent the school and advocate for the school with a range of stakeholders including students, staff, parents, community members and the Board of Directors. The primary functions of this position require demonstrated competency in the use of computer programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Canva, Quickbooks, ELV, CIIS to manage daily responsibilities. The Operations Director is responsible for a wide range of tasks that require self motivation, effective time management skills, and the ability to clearly articulate both accomplishments and challenges, with a mind towards problem solving and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Management of outgoing communications regarding school
- Frontline contact with community, janitorial, classroom, and office
- Snack inventory and ordering
- Ensuring updated website and social media
- Utilizing appropriate systems for data management
- Erranding including procurement of supplies, mail, and bank deposits
- Overall maintenance and organization of facility
- Managing vendor contracts, inspector liaison, managing onsite inspections, and licensing compliance
- Supporting families with enrollment onboarding, waitlist, volunteerism, fundraising lead,
- assisting Classrooms with rosters, contact lists, student files, snack management,
- special Event coordination such as health screenings, family events, photo day,
- Health liaison overseeing supplies, trainings, special delegations, partnering with Executive Director and Education Director to outline goals and action items.
