Now Hiring: Infant Program Supervisor – The Owl Academy

The Owl Academy is seeking a dedicated Infant Teacher to join our family-owned and operated early childhood center. Located on a beautiful one-acre campus with wide-open play spaces and nature-inspired classrooms, The Owl Academy is a place where children are encouraged to spread their wings and fly. Position Overview:
Our Infant Teacher will create a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 6 weeks to 18 months. The ideal candidate is passionate about early development, understands the importance of building strong bonds with children and families, and is committed to providing consistent, loving care in a safe and stimulating setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a nurturing and responsive environment that supports each child’s emotional and developmental needs
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and individualized care
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through open communication and regular updates
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets licensing and health standards
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and support staff to maintain a calm and consistent atmosphere
- Observe and document developmental milestones, and communicate progress with families and administration
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Must meet Colorado State Licensing requirements for an Infant Program Supervisor
- Level 3 or higher in PDIS
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Patient, kind, and attuned to the needs of young children
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. and meet physical demands of an infant classroom

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $26.00 per hour
