We are pleased to assist our client, The Community Partnership for Child Development (CPCD), in finding their next President & CEO. CPCD is a non-profit organization located in Colorado Springs, CO. CPCD is dedicated to its mission of preparing children for success in school and in life by providing excellent comprehensive early childhood services in partnership with diverse families and the community. Founded in 1987, CPCD has grown immensely, now operating 63 classrooms in six school districts as well as on Fort Carson. CPCD manages three programs: Head Start, The Colorado Preschool Program, and Early Head Start, in collaboration with community partners to meet the needs of children and families in Colorado.

The President & CEO serves as the chief executive of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors and the Parent Policy Council, the President & CEO is responsible for recommending policies, priorities, projects, programs, and budgets to these bodies and assisting in their shared decision-making, developing policies and reports regarding organizational objectives, guiding the Leadership Council and being held responsible for the management of CPCD’s three programs. The President & CEO will also work in tandem with the COO, CFO, and Chief People Officer regarding staffing, business operations, and fiscal management while serving as the face and voice of the organization in public relations, development, and fundraising.
