We are seeking a Nurse Consultant to provide training in medication administration for a small staff of 7 at our Neighborhood Youth organization. This role also involves serving as a contracted nurse consultant for the summer months (June – July 2024), offering expert guidance and support in healthcare-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive training sessions on proper medication administration techniques for a small staff of 7 individuals.
  2. Provide guidance on medication safety, storage, documentation, and emergency procedures to staff members.
  3. Offer ongoing support and consultation to staff members regarding medication-related concerns or questions.
  4. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on healthcare-related issues, offering expertise and advice as needed.
  5. Act as a contracted nurse consultant for the summer months, providing expertise and support on healthcare matters as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing.
  • Experience in nursing education or training, particularly in medication administration.
  • Strong knowledge of medication safety protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Availability to fulfill the contracted role during the specified summer months (June – July 2024).
