Substitute Preschool Teacher (As Needed)  

Paddington Station Preschool is seeking substitute teachers to add to our community! The substitute position is a perfect position for someone interested in getting some experience in the early childhood field, looking to get your foot in the door at an amazing school, or for someone who is only looking to work a few days a week.  As a substitute teacher, you would work collaboratively alongside another Paddington Teacher to meet the various needs of the children. This position might be right for you if you love working in a fun, supportive, and play based environment alongside other like-minded educators who value community and partnering with families. Hours and Pay 

We are open from 7:30- 5:30 Monday- Friday. However, sub shifts can be full days, half-days or just in the afternoon from 3:15-5:30. As a sub, you let us know what your availability is.

Substitutes start at $22 per hour and are paid for the time they work.

Requirements

·      Associates, BA or higher in Early Childhood or related field

·       Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification through PDIS (minimum level 2 required)

Qualifications 

Applicants should have a high level of energy, be interested in teaching curriculum informed by a play-based philosophy, have strong verbal skills, possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and embody a love for teaching and learning.

Candidates should possess the ability to communicate tactfully with students, families, and colleagues and should demonstrate the utmost honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
