Montessori Teacher

Eastlake Montessori is a 40+ year program in the Eastlake community of Thornton, Colorado. Our small close-knit community has a deep history where some of our current parents were once children in the school. Our school is in a 1950s ranch-style home where we have three teachers who co-teach a group of approximately 28 children. We are looking for a full-time dedicated teacher to work 7:30am-4:30pm daily who is comfortable joining a well-established program with a seasoned staff of hard-working Montessori guides. Looking for a teacher who instinctually sets the example for kindness, respect, understanding, and grace. Teacher will be expected to participate in parent-teacher conferences, set-up in the morning/close-up in the evening, attend trainings and parent education nights.

• Ideal candidate will be Montessori-trained or have a love and understanding of the Montessori philosophy and willingness to attend Montessori trainings to enrich knowledge
• All required trainings/paperwork for state licensing requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to be flexible
• Team player
