Summer Early Childhood Teacher

Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten is seeking Assistant Teachers for our 2023 Summer Camp. We are ideally seeking candidates who have Waldorf teaching experience and/or Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher training. Qualified candidates have their Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher in Version 3.0 per the Colorado Department of Human Services as well as some level of Waldorf Early Childhood or Lifeways background.

We offer 3 three-week Summer Camp sessions. Ideally, our staff is consistent for the entire summer, although, we are open to different staff in each session.

The 2023 Summer Camp dates are:

Session I: June 12 – June 30
Session II: July 5 – 21
Session III: July 14 – August 11

Teachers who work all three sessions will receive 3 paid days off during the summer camp.

Our summer camps are held primarily outside on our beautiful play yard with animals and gardens. This year’s summer camp will have up to 20 children per morning, ages 3 years to 6 years, with one Lead Teacher and two Assistant Teachers.

Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten and Preschool is an Early Childhood center serving ages 12 months through 6 years. We have three Preschool/KG classrooms and one Lifeways (Toddler) classroom and a full summer camp program. We are situated on a beautiful one+ acre farm with chickens, goats, rabbits, biodynamic and organic gardens and fruit trees. Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten, founded in 1998, is a full member of WECAN and serves approximately 60 children each year.
