Pyramid Plus Approach Session 13 & 14 with Elizabeth Williams

- Pyramid Plus Approach Training (delivered by Pyramid Plus Certified Trainer) meets the state requirements for ECE 103.
- Mandatory Orientation Night: Wednesday September 4th- 6:00- 7:00 PM
- Training Dates: September 7th – October 5th.
The training is 4 weeks of Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday sessions. Wednesday and Thursday sessions are 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and Saturday sessions are 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Please review the days/times carefully.

About the Trainer: Elizabeth Williams is a Pyramid Plus Approach Certified Trainer and owner of Empowering Educators LLC. She has been working in the early childhood field for 16 years. She has worked as a Floater, Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, Administrator, Quality Navigator and Early Childhood Coach. Elizabeth has an ECPC 3.0 Level 6, Coaching Credential (2017) and Director Certification (2012). She is currently contracting with Early Childhood Programs and School Districts in Colorado to provide coaching and assessments to increase Teacher’s confidence and quality teaching practices.
Attendance Policy: Effective October 2021 guidance from Pyramid Colorado, in extreme circumstances, a participant may miss up to 2 sessions. Missed sessions must be made up before October 31st, 2024, due to the Pyramid content changing. To receive a certificate of attendance, the participant must complete ALL 18 sessions. If the participant misses more than 7 hours of training, they will need to enroll for the new 50-hour Pyramid training. No exceptions.
Structure of Training: This training is delivered in 18 sessions over four weeks. These sessions are for participants to learn how to support social emotional competence and challenging behaviors in young children. Each session is designed to cover a specific topic along with strategies and examples to support professionals and caregivers in both Center and Family Home settings. A computer with audio and visual capability is required to attend this training.
