PYRAMID PLUS APPROACH–ONLINE TRAINING

Join us from the comfort of your home for this virtual Pyramid Plus Training!
Now more than ever we need to apply best practices to our work with young children to create a felt sense of safety and predictability, to teach children essential social skills, and to manage challenging behavior in a way that supports and teaches rather than punishes. And it is crucial that ALL children—including children with special needs—are fully included in these efforts.
The Pyramid Plus Approach (PPA) training will help you do all this and more!
Target Audience. This comprehensive training is for ECE teachers and administrators, coaches & trainers, early childhood mental health professionals, early intervention providers, health consultants, parents…anyone who works to support social-emotional health in young children from birth to age 5.
About the Trainer: Susan Kay, MA, is a Pyramid Plus Approach certified trainer. She began her early childhood career as a Child & Family Therapist and now trains and coaches in all aspects of addressing challenging behavior and supporting healthy social-emotional development in young children. This will be Susan’s 24th complete Pyramid Plus Approach training and her 3rd PPA training on Zoom! Although the PPA training is the same no matter who teaches it, Susan brings it alive with stories and added resources and materials.
The Pyramid Plus Approach Training (delivered by a Certified PPA Trainer) meets the requirements for Child Guidance Strategies (ECE 103). PPA is also an approved series course in the Colorado Shines Professional Development Information System. To receive a certificate of completion you must complete ALL 18 sessions.
