- Sun May 21st, 2023 Time: 8 am – 4 pm SESSIONS 4, 5, 6
- Sat June 3rd, 2023 Time: 8 am – 4 pm SESSIONS 7, 8, 9
- Sun June 4th, 2023 Time: 8am- 4 pm SESSIONS 10, 11, 12
- Sat June 10th,2023 Time: 8 am – 4 pm SESSIONS 13, 14, 15
- Sun June 11th, 2023 Time: 8 am – 4 pm SESSIONS: 16, 17, 18
- June 12,15, 21 (6 -9 pm) may be used as make up days if training gets cancelled due to trainer illness or any other unforeseen issues.
About the Trainer: Sobia Khan is a Pyramid Plus Approach Certified Trainer. She has been in the early childhood field for 22 years. She is a former Director of an ECE program. She has worked at Clayton Early Learning as a Quality Assessment Associate for the Colorado Shines Rating process. Currently, she is heading an Early Childhood Consulting Company. Their goal is to improve child outcomes by providing ECE teachers the trainings and coaching on best practices.
Attendance Policy: As per effective Jan 2021 guidance of Pyramid Colorado, in extreme circumstances, a participant may miss 2 sessions of class, participant must make up the missed sessions within 6 months of the last training session of the series. To receive a certificate of attendance participant must complete ALL 18 sessions. Participant will need to re-enroll in a new training if miss more than 2 sessions of the training.
Structure of Training: The materials are developed so participants will be able to apply strategies and tools in their practice. Presentation will be delivered in a manner that systematically breaks the content into 18 sessions with specific topics and strategies, which provide concrete examples based in a variety of settings (center based and home).
Pyramid Plus Approach Training (delivered by Pyramid Plus Certified Trainer) meets the state requirements for Child Guidance Strategies (ECE 103).
Targeted Audience: Early Childhood professionals and others working to improve the social emotional health of children Birth – 5 years; including administrators, coaches, trainers, teachers, Early Childhood Mental Health consultants and specialists, Early Intervention providers and other health professionals are encouraged to attend.
