Nurturing Social-Emotional Growth

The Nurturing Social Emotional Growth in Early Childhood Programs training explores the importance of supporting the social emotional well-being of young children. This includes assisting children in recognizing and acknowledging feelings, understanding how social emotional well-being benefits school readiness and the role you classroom environment plays (both programming and physical set-up) in impacting healthy social emotional development.
Participants receive a certificate for 1.5 hours of approved training. ECE Competencies: G 1.1, G 2.1 and G 4.2
This training has been temporarily modified for completion during the COVID-19 pandemic. The course will be provided in a Zoom format and will include interaction among attendees. Participants will be asked to utilize Zoom features including audio and video during class time.
