In this training, providers will discuss menu planning and shopping strategies they can use to make the most of their food dollars.
Goal: Encourage participants to use strategies to maximize their food resources
Objectives –participants will:
- Discuss the benefits of planning menus in advance
- Practice strategies to save money when food shopping
- Celebrate their successes in planning and preparing healthy meals and creating healthy food environment for the children in their care
