In this training, providers will discuss menu planning and shopping strategies they can use to make the most of their food dollars.

Goal: Encourage participants to use strategies to maximize their food resources

Objectives –participants will:

  1. Discuss the benefits of planning menus in advance
  2. Practice strategies to save money when food shopping
  3. Celebrate their successes in planning and preparing healthy meals and creating healthy food environment for the children in their care
