TEACH Colorado is excited to announce an upcoming Future Black Teachers’ free virtual event for aspiring Black educators. The Legacy of Black Educator Excellence Webinar on March 22nd at 4pm MT, will be a live, two-part event, in which participants will first hear from four highly-acclaimed educators, including Kurt Russell, the 2022 National Teacher of the Year, as they discuss the historical legacy of Black educators and how Black educators are continuing that legacy today. Afterwards, participants will get support identifying their next step to becoming a teacher. This event is perfect for high school, college students, non-certified school-based staff, and even professionals considering becoming a teacher!
