ECHO Demonstration Site Training: Affordable Play Settings

Join us on Wednesday, August 14 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Children’s Discovery Center, an ECHO Demonstration Site, and the National Wildlife Federation ECHO team host a training event to support early childhood professionals in creating high-quality outdoor learning environments.

In this two-hour training event, we will hear from Rocky Mountain Children’s Discovery Center as they share about their journey to becoming an ECHO Demonstration Site.  Additionally, participants will engage in hands-on training to learn how to engage infants and toddlers in outdoor spaces as outlined in the description below.

This training is provided at no cost to participants.

Light dinner provided.

Affordable Play Settings in Outdoor Learning Environments
Learn ways to activate and improve your outdoor learning environment through low-cost, high-impact changes. Participants will gain inspiration and ideas that they can implement in their own spaces by creatively using affordable materials to support children’s play.
