Child Care Health Consultation 201 (2-Day Session)

This training will help experienced Child Care Health Consultants build their competencies through self-assessment, group participation, and reflection.

You will practice using a newly developed self-assessment competency tool. You will also explore ways to assess your program’s health, safety, and wellness practices and policies and develop a plan for improvement. Through scenario-based learning, you will practice and learn about updated regulations and hot topics. You will receive checklists, an assessment, resources, and tools for improving your practice as a Child Care Health Consultant.

Before taking this training, you must:

• Complete CCHC 101 training
• Complete immunization training annually

This training has been temporarily modified for completion during the COVID-19 pandemic. The course will be provided in a Zoom format, in 2 sessions, and will include interaction among attendees. You need to complete both sessions in order to receive your certificate.

Session 1: April 13, 2021: 9:00 am – 11:30 am
Session 2: April 15, 2021: 9:00 am to 11:30 am

Cost: $25

Participants will be asked to utilize Zoom features including audio and video during class time. Before taking this training you must review the Child Care Health Consultant Competencies.
