ECE Huddle: Gardening with Children

What is a huddle? A huddle is a short meeting that occurs frequently so teams are informed and aligned. Huddles also provide a venue for participants to share, celebrate, and motivate one another. In this huddle, we will explore ideas for gardening that can be used in any program space and how planting fruits and vegetables influence a child's nutrition choices. TPOT™ Reliability Workshop Training (2 Sessions)

Training Overview: The Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT™) Reliability Workshop prepares participants in the use of the instrument which gathers information on preschool teachers’ implementation of Pyramid Model practices. This is an intensive workshop that requires prerequisite knowledge, preparation, and participation in the entire workshop. Participants who successfully complete the workshop and meet reliability standards will receive a certificate indicating reliability status and can serve as reliability partners to other observers.
